Offsite Manufacturing Industry Roadmap Project
To deliver on the commitments and goals of the Construction Sector Accord, government and industry developed a three-year Construction Sector Transformation Plan 2022-2025. This project is a response to the Commerce Commission’s market study into residential building supplies (Recommendation 7: Develop and implement an all of government strategy to coordinate and boost offsite manufacturing). The overall objective of this project for an ‘Offsite Manufacturing Industry Roadmap’, is to develop the industry’s part in an action plan to increase the uptake of offsite manufacturing in government projects, by a minimum of 10% year on year. This project will drive the adoption of offsite manufacturing in the construction sector in New Zealand.
